Gérard Brossard, né en 1950, fait partie des céramistes français associés à La Borne. Formé à l’École des Beaux-Arts de Bourges, il se spécialise dans la céramique auprès de Jean et Jacqueline Lerat, figures majeures du renouveau du grès en France. Son travail se distingue par des formes sculpturales, souvent architecturées, dans lesquelles la matière, le feu et les effets de cuisson jouent un rôle central. Ses œuvres s’inscrivent dans la tradition exigeante du grès de La Borne, tout en affirmant une écriture personnelle, puissante et contemporaine.
